Miller Scott
MSDT |
 |
|
Miller has been diving since 1988. Back in 1993, he
decided to take this passion to the professional level
by obtaining his Divemaster certification and in this
same year, his Instructor certification. He is
currently a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and enjoys
assisting dive students with continuing their adventure
in diving whether it is recreational or professional.
Also, for several years, Miller has been working as a
commercial diver, which can be a challenging change from
being an instructor. Although Miller enjoys most outdoor
activities, his favorites include diving, boating, and
snow skiing. |

Bill Jackson
MSDT |
 |
|
Bill has enjoyed the sport
of scuba diving since 1996. He is now a PADI
Specialty Instructor, and our resident "pirate
scallywag." (You would have to meet Bill to understand.)
He has 9 years of professional diving 5 of which as an
instructor. He has certified students in the
Caribbean as well as local lakes. He has certified over
one hundred divers and has logged well over 1000 dives.
Bill is also a Nitrox Instructor as well a Captain in
his own mind aboard the "Anchor Tyme". Cozumel is
Bill’s favorite dive destination, but has also dove all
over the Caribbean in places such as Grand Cayman,
Jamaica, Saint Thomas and the Bahamas. So when you're
ready to meet this true scallywag, come on by the shop
and walk the planks. |

Myron
Kirksey
MSDT |
 |
|
Myron began diving in 1999
and it became a passion. Working as a PADI Divemaster
in 2000 and 2001, Myron assisted in the certification of
hundreds of divers in the region and in 2002 he earned
the Open Water Scuba Instructor rating. He is now a
Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Emergency First Responder
instructor, and has several specialty instructor
certifications. One of the most rewarding experiences
for Myron is seeing the smiling faces and hearing the
excited chatter of diving students after their first
open water dive. The outdoors, whether in the lake, the
ocean, or the mountains are where he enjoys spending his
time. |

Mike Slicker
Course
Director |
 |
|
Focus, knowledge, and
dedication. These are just a few words to describe
Ocean Impact’s PADI Course Director, Mike Slicker.
Married and from Tyler, Texas, Mike has been diving
since 1990. He has over 1,500 logged dives. Mike has
been diving in so many different locations but says that
his favorite area is probably the Caribbean. He has been
a PADI Course Director since 2003 and has a 100% pass
ratio for preparing divers for their Instructor
Examination. He enjoys working with people interested
in continuing their professional diving careers.

Lena Robertson (new photo soon)
Store Manager
Divemaster |
 |
|
Lena
has only been diving since 2003 but since then she has
obtained her Divemaster certification and will soon be
an Assistant Instructor. She would eventually like to
become an instructor as well. Lena also works as Ocean
Impact’s training coordinator and is one of the on-site
gear technicians. What she enjoys most about working in
this industry are the interesting people that she
meets. “It’s very rewarding seeing or hearing the
excitement involving a new dive experience or even an
old one.”
